Reconstruction / new construction of bridges on the roads to high mountain pastures

 

Bridge location:

The road from Tamga village to Kok-Tobo recreation center of Jety-Oguz rayon.

Corresponding number on the general plan: № 44.

Name of farm: Issyk-Kul army subsidiary farm under the Ministry of Defence, Tamga village.

River name: Uu-Bulak.


Actual condition of the bridge/road

Along the entire 2 km of the road there are channels formed by rainwater, which makes it difficult to pass. Profiling and a sand and gravel layer are required.

Coverage of high mountain pastures

The road and the bridge cover about 2 000 ha of woodlands and high mountain pastures. The location is used for grazing, haying and logging. The entire location is at 2 300 m above sea level.

Actual users on the location

The main users of the bridge are: Issyk-Kul army subsidiary farm of the Defence Ministry, Tamga, forestry and Barskoon villagers.

The total number of the main users is 6 farms.

Other potentialities for the use of the location

With the road and bridge being improved there will be potentialities for beekeeping, harvesting of medicinal herbs, tourism.

Bridge operation

The daily carrying capacity of the bridge and the road is 20 cars (Niva, UAZ), trucks of 15 tons; four-five trimes a year the bridge is used for livestock migration; it is also used for passers-by and horse riders.
