Reconstruction / new construction of bridges on the roads to high mountain pastures

Road from Barskoon village to Tarylga canyon of Jety-Oguz rayon.

Corresponding number on the general plan ¹ 1.

Name of aiyl okmotu: Barskoon aiyl okmotu.

River name: Taarylga.




Actual condition of the bridge / road

The wooden bridge of 2 m length is fully destroyed with a few logs being laid down as a temporary bridgeway. A new construction is required.

Coverage of high mountain pastures

The road and the bridge cover around 1,000 ha of woodlands and mountain pastures. The location is used for grazing, haying, logging and as a forest tree nursery. The entire location is at 2,300 m above sea level.

Actual users in the location

The main users of the bridge are: Barskoon aiyl okmotu, the local forestry, „Toluk“ peasant farm.

Other potentialities to use the location

With the bridge being improved there will be potentialities for the development of: tourism, bee keeping, medicinal herb harvesting and forest tree nursery.

Bridge operation

The daily carrying capacity of the road and bridge is 20 cars (Niva, UAZ), trucks of 15 tons, horse riders and passers-by.
